The R5 Ocmis is the ultimate irrigators friend. The R5's standard features include: hydraulic stabilizers, guncart lift, tongue jack, and rotation. The 4.6" ID hose will deliver 260 to 650 GPM and allow travel lanes 250 to 380 ft. apart. AND double chain drive and computer speed control make this the easiest travel gun to operate.

TURNTABLES - are mounted on large diameter ball bearings for easy rotation.

FRAME - chassis made of steel box section assembled and welded by robots and hot dipped galvanized.

PE HOSE - top quality PE hose manufactured to resist very heavy drags and high working pressures.

 

DRUM SUPPORTS - from structure R3 on, drums are supported by large, waterproof bearings increasing drum life.

GEARBOX - 3 - 4 - 6 speed operation in an oil-bath gearbox fitted with tempered, hardened and rectified shafts. Shafts are designed to operate within toughest working conditions.

TURBINE - choke-flow turbine, having an outlet perpendicular to the by-passed entry. The turbine impeller is mounted directly onto the inlet shaft of gearbox. This advance design system reduces the head losses to give a wider speed range even when the flow and the inlet pressure of the machine are low.

A sturdy hydraulic choke-flow turbine is at the heart of every OCMIS IRRIGATIOR. The construction features of the turbine and of the gearbox forming the Turbo Speed system represent a significant advance in hose reel propulsion and make this system unique in terms of reliability and performance.

TACHOMETER - tachometer is a standard accessory to the irrigator, starting from structure R3. Retraction speed can be instantly read-out

Hose Guide System:
the scroll bar system guarantees a perfect layering of the polyethylene hose and reduces hose wear to a minimum.
Hose-Guide Forks:
double rail forks prevent the hose guide system from any mis-alignment.

  • delayed start time
  • delayed end time
  • read out of hose laid out and hose pulled in,

  • 4 working zones with different application rates (only if machine is equipped with a flow3 meter)

THE CREAM OF THE CROP IN ENGINE DRIVES!
The OCMIS engine drive traveler takes over where others take shortcuts. The smooth running, long lasting Honda motor has ELECTRIC START. No more pulling and tugging a rope when it is 100 degrees outside. Smooth hydraulic operation has an infinite speed adjustment and allows the end user to power the gun cart lift, stablilizer legs and options such as rotation and tongue jack with the push of a lever. Our end of run shutdown system operates two ways. The gun cart moves the gearbox into nuetral and trips a heavvy duty saftey switch to shut down the engine.
